Start from the closed cube, open one corner and let the magnets lead — never force a piece. Our step-by-step first-fold guide covers the crown, the star and the way back to the box.
Collect & connect
Every Shashibo — DODECA, OCTA and ICOSA XL — connects with the others through its outer magnets, so this one will join any cube you already own.
More about Shashibo OCTA Mystic Ocean
Mystic Ocean carries the mood of deep, quiet water, and on the OCTA it becomes a soothing little object to roll around in your hand. This is the beginner format in the Shashibo system, transforming through more than 30 shapes with 28 ultra strong magnets. It is intuitive enough that a newcomer finds their first shape in minutes.
Because it is mini, it goes everywhere: desk, classroom, commute. No batteries, no apps, just hands-on play that helps ease stress and build pattern recognition. Recommended for ages 8 and up. Pair it with the Mystic Ocean ICOSA XL or a DODECA and the tide rolls in on a much larger build. Small cube, big calm.
