How to use it
Start from the closed cube, open one corner and let the magnets lead — never force a piece. Our step-by-step first-fold guide covers the crown, the star and the way back to the box.
Collect & connect
Every Shashibo — DODECA, OCTA and ICOSA XL — connects with the others through its outer magnets, so this one will join any cube you already own.
More about Shashibo ICOSA XL Primary
Primary colors keep things clear and confident, which makes sense on the biggest puzzle in the family. ICOSA XL packs 72 magnets and opens into more than 200 shapes, and every one of them can be inverted to show three or more different patterns. That triple invertibility is what sets it apart: you are not just changing the silhouette, you are choosing the face it wears.
It is billed as a next-level challenge, yet there is no wrong shape, so a curious beginner can play freely while puzzle fans chase specific forms. Video tutorials walk through the harder transformations. Recommended for ages 8 and up, it also links into the full Shashibo universe, so a primary ICOSA makes a sturdy anchor for OCTA and DODECA add-ons.
