Start from the closed cube, open one corner and let the magnets lead — never force a piece. Our step-by-step first-fold guide covers the crown, the star and the way back to the box.
Collect & connect
Every Shashibo — DODECA, OCTA and ICOSA XL — connects with the others through its outer magnets, so this one will join any cube you already own.
More about Shashibo DODECA Primary
Primary colors are the first palette most of us learn, and they make shape-building easy to follow. On the DODECA, the clean, contrasting colors help you track what each fold actually did, which is handy when you are learning a new sequence. It is a confident, cheerful cube that suits kids, classrooms and anyone who prefers simple over busy.
More than 100 shapes are possible, all held by 36 magnets designed for connectivity and durability. It is silent, so it stays welcome during homework or meetings. Recommended for ages 8 and up, it slots between the Primary OCTA and Primary ICOSA XL, and the three join into one tidy, color-blocked sculpture. It is a great teaching cube, too.
